We are proud to announce the launch of our Hero’s 6 program. Hero’s 6 (we’ve got your back) serves those veterans residing in Coles County nursing homes and are in hospice care. Our team of volunteers have received training in end of life stages and applicable HIPPA law. Our volunteers undergo a criminal history background check to ensure the safety of our clients. We admire our “national treasures” and strive to provide comfort and compassion to them by walking side by side with them at this final stage of their lives. We welcome other volunteers to join us. Won’t you consider joining our volunteer Hero’s 6 program as we extend compassionate actions to our honored veterans?
