Our Mission
A united community providing support to veterans in need through compassionate actions. It is therefore our responsibility to do what we can to support service members, veterans and their families, from the time of oath through separation and beyond. That’s why we created VSC – to mobilize and coordinate community support for military members and their families.
What We Do
Veteran Support Coalition leverages it’s network of local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and most importantly our volunteers to connect military members, veterans and their families to resources in the local communities.
Our History
The Veteran Support Coalition was born out of a commitment to provide for local Veterans in immediate need of assistance. We engage the support of our community to help in any way that is needed. Are they homeless? Are they hungry? Do they need help with home repairs? We want to be there to help out when those emergencies require a little extra care and compassion.
How We're Funded
Veteran Support Coalition is primarily funded through the generous support of donors who make an optional donation to support our operations. Veteran Support Coalition also receives contributions from a number of generous individuals, corporations and foundations.
Our Values
We are committed to supporting all US Veterans without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, or religion. All of our assistance is based upon personal, physical or financial need. We believe that through compassionate actions, we can serve our Veterans with a “helping-hands” philosophy.
